School Policy - Entering the Building - All parents, grandparents, or other visitors will need to sign-in at the school upon entering the building. You will need to sign in for entering and for leaving the building. Please fill out a visitor's name badge that you will wear during your visit. Return the badge when leaving and sign out on the clipboard.
Parking: Please do not park along the front row of parking spaces closest to the building/flag pole area during the school day or the west lot of spaces nearest the gym at the end of the day. If you do it will complicate our drop off/pick up procedures as well as put our children at risk between cars. Thank you!
School Closings/Delays - beginning this school year, Zion will go alone regarding school closings and delays. WE WILL NO LONGER FOLLOW SOUTHERN HANCOCK COMMUNITY SCHOOLS. You will need to look/listen for Zion Lutheran School-New Palestine for your instructions. Our closings will be listed on Channels 6, 8 & 13.
LUNCH: There will be NO HOT LUNCH ON THURSDAYS for this school year. Milk will be available to purchase as usual.
Lunch Purchases -- tardy students wishing to order a hot lunch must have their order into the school office no later than 8:45 a.m. Parents may pay for lunches & milk in bulk. Your statements are on Fast Direct/pink statements.
